Behaviour Therapist Trainee
Rianna joined CDC as a Behavioural Therapist Trainee, motivated by a desire to help children adjust to the ‘community of the future’ and to provide counselling and emotional support to the families of SEN children.
Prior to graduating from James Madison University (Virginia) with a distinction in Psychology, Rianna completed a summer internship at HK University’s Psychology Department where she helped design playgroup activities for children aged 6 months to 8 years. She also volunteered with a well-established Hong Kong charity, working as a classroom assistant and supporting children (aged 4-6 years) with autism and developmental learning difficulties. Whilst in the US, she designed and facilitated activities for adults with intellectual disabilities at a Day Centre in Virginia.
