GOVERNMENT FUNDED PROGRAMME – THROUGH GOVERNMENT REFERRAL ONLY
Early intervention in a group setting has the added benefit for your child of learning in a social setting alongside their peers. Using an all-rounded therapeutic approach, the group is designed to facilitate all aspects of a child’s development. Your child will work with the teacher, speech and occupational therapists on individual goals within the CDC’s curriculum. Your child’s particular areas of need will be addressed across all domains – cognitive, fine and gross motor, language and personal-social.
Your child will attend two sessions per week (3 hours in total) and must be accompanied by an adult to facilitate training of parents/caregivers. Your child will receive a minimum of 18 hours of therapeutic input every six months.
Your child will receive an individual assessment twice a year to generate goals to be worked on during the group and at home. In addition, you will receive two family support sessions per year.
