Preschool Programme 2 (Tigers)

Category:
3 - 6 Years/ Gross Motor Skills/ Group Programmes/ Numeracy/ Self-help Skills/ Social Skills/ Speech & Language/

This is an intense therapeutic group running five mornings per week, with the option to enroll for a 2, 3, 4 or 5 morning schedule. It is designed to address all aspects of your child’s development.

Our play-based curriculum is guided by the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) from the UK and the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide (Education Bureau) from Hong Kong.

The group serves as a preparation for primary school (regardless fi special needs or mainstream setting) and generally takes a more direct
approach to independent learning and meeting educational milestones.

Your child will be assessed to formulate an individual teaching and therapeutic programme and subsequently reassessed in six-month intervals. He/She is expected to attend with a parent and/or caregiver until staff members are confident that your child has sufficiently settled and can attend independently.

The Tigers Programme focuses on:

  • Physical, personal, social and emotional development
  • Communication and language
  • Shapes, space and measures
  • Understanding the world
  • Art and design
  • Pre-academic learning (incl. literacy; numeracy)
  • School Readiness
