Parents Grasped Free Child Development Tools at the International Schools Festival

CDC was honoured to take part in the International Schools Festival, an international schools event for parents organised by SCMP Education Post. This successful event was held last Saturday (24 Sept 2016) and attracted over 7,000 parents. As an exhibitor, we were glad to be able to share information on child development with parents and other education practitioners.

There were approximately 70 exhibitors ranging from pre-schools, primary and secondary schools, language learning centres and playgroups. We offered free Early Childhood Development (ECD) Screeners for parents. We received great response from parents and the sign-up rate for the offer was beyond expectation. The screener aims to help parents understand their young children’s development and identify any possible gaps. The event participants received parenting tips and advice from our multi-disciplinary team, including our Chief Executive, Virginia Wilson and Head of Psychological Services, Dr. Yvonne Becher.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the CDC team to interact with other community partners. We appreciated the support from parents and like-minded practitioners at the event.
