The CDC Open House and Parent Orientation 2019 was held on 17 August. Over 41 families/groups visited our centre!

On 17 August, we were happy to welcome over 100 visitors to the CDC’s Open House 2019! It was a great chance for parents and CDC supporters to get a better understanding of our daily work right before the new term start, and for the public to participate in various fun activities.

During the Open House, guests were taken on a tour to explore the child-friendly learning environment – classrooms, motor therapy rooms (“gyms”), library etc. They also participated in arts & crafts and sensory activities, which were specially designed by our teachers and speech/occupational therapists. If the participants had questions regarding children’s learning needs, they were able to ask our professional team right away.

Before the Open House was the Parent Orientation, where new and returning parents learnt about how Team CDC would be working with them, how to use the “CDC Connects” app, and were given important information about the coming school year. They also got the opportunity to meet their child’s teachers and therapists.

It was wonderful to see all of you on the day! Stay tuned on our website, Facebook and Instagram for the latest news and upcoming events in the 2019/20 new term!
