A huge thank you to the charities and our kind donors for their generosity during this difficult time!

The Child Development Centre (CDC) understands it is a difficult time for all families and organisations to sustain livelihoods and normal services when the pandemic is affecting our world drastically, therefore, we hereby express our particular appreciation to the charities who have dedicated their support to the CDC during this tough time.

We are delighted to have received funds and emergency assistance from the Rusy and Purviz Shroff Charitable Foundation, The Hong Kong Racehorse Owners Association Charitable Foundation (HKROACF), the Social Welfare Department (SWD), and The Welfare League. The generous donations are helping more children and families access our services in order to facilitate their needs.

With the generous funds and assistance, from August 2019 to July 2020, we delivered 374 therapy sessions, which is equivalent to 797 hours, to families in need of financial assistance. By offering the urgent and necessary early intervention education, the students are able to continue to learn, and the parents’ needs and stress levels are addressed and eased.

Moreover, with the support from our benefactors, we also provide translating and interpreting services for students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and their families to enable more effective communication and comprehensive support for parents and caregivers.

We would like to thank all of our kind donors and supporters for the boundless support they provided us this year. Let’s continue to join hands with the CDC to create a more inclusive and supportive society for our children!

Please contact our Programme Coordination Assistant Manager to find out how you can apply for financial assistance for your child’s programme(s) with us, if your family has been impacted by the COVID-19.
