An Extraordinary Event in an Unprecedented Time | Daddy Daughter Date

After two years, our Daddy Daughter event returned at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, whilst the safety of guests was ensured during this unprecedented time.

On 14 August 2021, Daddy Daughter Date (“DDD”), the long-awaited annual fundraising event of the Child Development Centre (“CDC”), was held at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong! More than 200 fathers and daughters once again joined hands to participate in this wonderful event with an excess of HK$850,000 raised!

In light of the current social restrictions and the need to ensure that the participants’ safety was our top priority, this year’s “Daddy Daughter Ball” became a smaller, slightly more casual one, which we named the “Daddy Daughter Date” , whilst  hygiene measures were strictly implemented. Notwithstanding a slightly different format, the DDD was a special and memorable night out for all fathers and daughters.

Without everyone’s hard work and dedication, this thrilling night would not be possible. Therefore, a huge thank you must go to our committed and creative team of the DDD Committee and Junior Committee!

We are also incredibly grateful to all sponsors and donors for their generous support, prizes and donations. Particular appreciation is extended to the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong for their continued support in making this evening memorable for all of our guests.

Last but not least, we give thanks to our extraordinary team of committed and enthusiastic volunteers and supporters for their generous spirit and energy to make the long-awaited occasion happen again.
