On 14th December, the CDC held a Christmas party, with 43 CDC families coming to celebrate the festival together. We are thankful to CARE@HKJC, Joint Dynamics and Friends of CDC for sponsoring the party.
During the afternoon, the children had a unique and fun learning experience, participating in a variety of festive activities run by our staff and the volunteers from CARE@HKJC.
The children enjoyed bouncing on the trampoline while hanging ornaments on a tree in the ‘Decorating the Christmas Tree’ game, and they challenged themselves by walking blindfolded in the ‘Pinning Rudolph’s Nose’ game. They were also excited to dive into the ball pool, as well as drive trains on the train tracks. In the arts and crafts activities, the children enjoyed putting on temporary tattoos and face-paint, plus decorating Christmas cookies!
The magic show and balloon twisting were the highlights of the party, capturing the attention of both children and parents. Before the families left, they had a chance to meet Santa Claus where they took photos and the children received a present.
The afternoon was filled with fun and laughter, creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for the children and their parents during the holiday season.
