Train-the-trainer Workshop: The Poly Kids programme for parents with preschool aged children with developmental delay
15 August 2017 - 17 August 2017
The Food and Health Bureau of HKSARG has granted a sponsorship in 2014 for a 39-month pilot project named “Poly Kids” undertaken by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to develop and provide a training programme for parents with preschool aged children with developmental delay, as well as evaluate the efficacy of the programme. The Poly Kids is an evidence-based parent training programme which aims at improving parents’ knowledge and skills in parent-child communication, positive parenting, as well as facilitation in children’s language, gross and fine motor development, and preschool concepts.
