Parent Group Leader (Preschool + School-age) Workshop

This 4-day training will prepare group leaders to lead two different Evidence-based Incredible Years® basic parenting programs: (1) preschool program (ages 3-6 years) which is 18-20 sessions; and (2) school age program (ages 6-12 years) which is 12-20 sessions. These two parenting programs are evidence-based, aiming at strengthening parenting competencies and fostering parent involvement in children’s school experiences, to promote children’s academic, social and emotional skills and reduce conduct problems. Parent group sessions focus on strengthening parent-child interactions, nurturing relationships, reducing harsh discipline, and fostering parents’ ability to promote children’s social, emotional, and language development.
