FOCUS is pleased to welcome back Dr. Giorcelli, one of the region’s most experienced special education experts, to speak about essential learning for all teachers attempting to accommodate a diverse range of learners in their classrooms.

Discussion themes:

• A full breakdown of the principles underlying best practice in differentiation, as demonstrated through ongoing quality research, will be discussed with the use of examples.
• A framework for differentiation will be provided and teachers will be given time during breakout sessions to apply it to a unit of work they are currently undertaking in their classrooms.
• Additional differentiation materials will be provided by Dr Giorcelli and made available electronically through FOCUS.
