Join us for the CDC Charity Walk 2026, where we'll walk together to raise funds for a good cause and make a positive impact in our community.

In 2026, the Child Development Centre (CDC) celebrates 50 years of supporting children of all abilities to reach their potential. We are proud to have walked alongside thousands of families in Hong Kong, providing essential early intervention services and creating a community where every child can be recognised, supported, and celebrated. 

Walk with Us for Inclusion

Join us for our first inclusive charity walk – a fun, family-friendly day on the beautiful North Point Waterfront. Take your time to complete the 2 km route, enjoy stunning views along the way, and make it a memorable family day out!

Details

  • Date: Saturday, 17 January 2026
  • Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM*
  • Registration time: 09:30 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Route: 2-km route at East Coast Boardwalk, North Point
  • Gather Point: North Point Promenade

*A kick-off ceremony will be held at 10:00 am. You may join us whenever you’re free and go at your own pace.

What to Expect
  • A relaxed, go-at-your-own-pace 2km route
  • Accessible pathways for wheelchairs, strollers, and scooters
  • Attractive event souvenirs
  • An atmosphere of community and celebration!

Bring your family, friends, and colleagues to walk together for a more inclusive Hong Kong. Registration by 12 December 2025. We can’t wait to see you as we celebrate 50 years of igniting learning journeys!

 


** The two highest donations in the Individual and Group categories are eligible for the Top Fundraising Awards (with a minimum donation of HK$1,000). 

# The school backpack is only applicable to non-CDC families and will be distributed to children aged under 18 years old. 

Remarks:

  • Registration fee are not tax deductible.
  • Any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Child Development Centre reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions. Should there be any dispute, The Child Development Centre reserves the right to the final decision.

If there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

Donations

We sincerely invite you to be a CDC supporter by making an additional donation. You are welcome to invite your family members, friends, and network to sponsor you and participate in the event through donations. All proceeds go towards CDC’s programmes supporting children with additional learning needs and their families.

Tax-deductible receipts will be issued for donations of HK$100 or above. The two highest donations in the Individual and Group categories are eligible for the Top Fundraising Awards (with a minimum donation of HK$1,000).
