Therapeutic Use of Sound

A talk by Anne Huxtable on the benefits of sound therapy followed by demonstration.

About Anne Huxtable

Originally a research scientist and a Secondary School Maths teacher in Australia, Anne began her journey into alternative therapies 25 years ago. As a musician and singer, Anne developed an interest in how music and sound can be used for healing and energy balancing. This led her to study sound therapy at the Globe Sound and Consciousness Institute in San Francisco where she became a certified Sound Therapist and Sound Healer. She also studied harmonic overtone singing in Australia with Dean Frenkel. She is a qualified masseuse (Southern School of Natural Therapies, Melbourne, Australia) and Reiki practitioner, with many years of experience using a variety of modalities including Shiatsu and energy psychology techniques.Her sound healing work includes toning, crystal singing bowls, Elfen Energy Chimes and tuning forks. She conducts group sound baths and individual sound healing sessions.
