She is also eager to nurture the next generation of aspiring occupational therapists (OTs), OT interns, and new OT graduates.

Cherie graduated from Cebu Doctors’ University with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She enjoys working with children in early intervention settings.
With over 15 years of experience in occupational therapy across various children’s centres in Hong Kong, the Philippines, and China, she specialises in supporting children with additional needs. Seeing improvements in children keeps her motivated and passionate about helping them thrive.
Cherie remains committed to expanding her knowledge. Her lifelong learning attitude drives her to continually gain further expertise, enabling her to provide well-rounded support for children. Beyond learning from books and theory, she loves interacting with people and values working with the CDC team to exchange ideas. She is also keen to inspire young people who are interested in occupational therapy, nurturing the next generation.
